Kishoreganj Government Boys' High School (KGBHS), also known as কিশোরগঞ্জ সরকারি বালক উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়, is a well-known higher secondary school located in Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila, Kishoreganj, Bangladesh. Currently, the school has about 1,282 students and 52 teachers in two shifts.
The century-old school was established in 1881 as Kishoreganj High School. In 1941, it was renamed Kishoreganj Ramananda Union High School. Later, following its provincialization on January 1, 1967, the school was officially renamed Kishoreganj Government Boys’ High School. Since then, the school has continued its legacy of academic excellence and remains a prominent educational institution in the region.
In addition to education, Kishoreganj Government Boys' High School also gives special importance to educational and support activities. Every year, annual sports competitions, cultural programs, milad-mahfils are held. In addition, various games including inter-school cricket, football, badminton, debate competitions are held. In addition, every year, students participate in the science fair and achieve the best positions. For this reason, in addition to achieving good results in the secondary examination every year, the students of this school have always achieved enviable success in various competitions organized among the educational institutions of the country.
There is a hostel for students in the city's Alor Mela, not far from the school. There is a vast playground of 8.10 acres adjacent to the hostel.
